If we value the hard lessons of our history since Reagan

we better learn that when we elect truly decent and intelligent Presidents, we better make sure we elect another Democratic President after their term is up, because you can bet on it that the Republicans are going to elect someone who will destroy all the gains. That includes ALL the gains going all the way back to FDR’s New Deal, the right to vote for Black men and for all women and the creation of the middle class. Maybe even as far back as the emancipation of the slaves. Right now we are in the throes of exactly that.

Republicans don’t elect Presidents to move forward. They elect Presidents to undo all the gains achieved by Democratic Administrations. Can you think of anything Progressive or beneficial done by Republicans?

During Trump’s administration they have made more inroads into destroying our basic rights than at any other time in the last hundred years.

Two things today's republicans are hell-bent on destroying. Go Figure.

But once Reagan was in office their goals were set in serious stone.
