I doubt that the hand of politics has ever been stronger in Washington, DC? Politics trumps common sense, Congress, and even our Constitution. Party identification has never been stronger or more virulent.

It clouds our common sense, our rule of law, and the ability to govern ourselves.

It is like water running downhill. It takes the path of least resistance.
