I'm wondering if cases sent ot SDNY or other places

were separate or individual cases? I'm hoping there were many cases sent and they were handled separately making it more difficult to shut them down.

none of them have anything to do with trump as president, so even if they find something to charge him with, it will need to wait until he is out of office.

There is nothing in the Constitution that exempts the President, Vice President, or other high officers.

There is nothing under federal law that exempts the President, et al.

There are no state laws that exempts the President, et al.

It is only a policy which would not hold water.
