https://dailycaller.com/2019/03/22/san-antonio-chick-fil-a-lgbt/With this decision, the City Council reaffirmed the work our city has done to become a champion of equality and inclusion. San Antonio is a city full of compassion, and we do not have room in our public facilities for a business with a legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior, Treviño said according to ABC.

If the haters aren't stopped in their tracks, they will extend this same level of bigotry and hatred towards others not previously touched by their messages of hate, and will continue until there is no one left to hate.

(25,183 posts)Two things have happened in the last several years since Dan Cathy made his anti-marriage equality statements
First, the man is dead. Second, we won! Equal marriage is the law of the land, and despite a couple of county clerks in the Bible Belt, equality went through.
Yes, a few of the organizations that CFA gives to still have ancient language in their mission statements and bylaws that look at marriage from a pre-equality position, but its only a matter of time before their younger members take over and do away with that sentiment. Sort of like where a legislature officially wipes out racist or sexist language in state laws which have been voided by the courts years ago.
Of more pressing concern is that when you give a spot to a restaurant franchise in an airport, you want that space to be serving the travelling public all seven days of the week. That would be a reasonable argument against putting a CFA in an airport.
