Can the GOP keep the Paulites? They are trying to do so at the convention....

at least windbag Halperin thinks so.
I don't see how Paul followers can vote for Romney.
Will they stay home?
Or could the Pres come out for legal pot to win them over?

"One of the things the Romney campaign has done, i think, brilliantly, is they are ending up with almost the exact convention they wanted, in terms of excluding speakers who they’d be better off not having at the podium, in their view, and including people they wanted to include. That Ron Paul speech is a distraction that they don’t want. Rand Paul is a nice compromise to them. And a tribute video, Ron Paul’s people will really appreciate. Most voters, some voters, who might be turned off by Dr. Paul won’t notice there is a video. So, I think it’s another good compromise by their part in a way that is lining up the program they want. They just need to avoid the kind of distraction that Governor Romney created for himself this morning."
