It is being reported that the Midwest section of the United States is now and will be continuing to face severe damage due to flooding. Extreme heavy snow and rain has caused severe damage in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and elsewhere. The damage will affect Farmers in those states as well as to infrastructure, to homes, businesses, military installations like Offutt Air Force Base, etc.

(3,500 posts)Regardless of the current administration's ignorance/denial of GW this probably couldn't come at a worse time for anyone associated with the Ag industry in these areas. Piss poor food commodity prices, under or no insurance and flooded/wet fields to most certainly delay to the start of the planting season. The Mueller Report is only going to distract from getting any federal assistance or even focus on these areas. While I share disdain for some of these people I also feel a responsibility to help and maybe just maybe some of them will see that we still are all Americans.
