There was the Trump tower meeting with a bunch of Russians. Trump Jr's e-mails. They all lied about the meeting.
Trump asked Russia to find Clintons e-mails on TV and it was reported they hacked the Democrats e-mails hours later.
Dozens of people meeting secretly with Russians and then lying about it.
The last minute change to the Republican platform at the convention which benefitted Russia.
Perfectly timed releases of the stolen E-mails.
Stone contacting Wiki-leaks.
It was reported Manafort handed over polling data to a Russian. What the fuck was that about?
The indictment of a Russian spy who was a member of the NRA and liked to get her picture taken with Republican politicians.
This is just off the top of my head. I am sure there is a lot more. If that is not a conspiracy somebody needs to explain to me what the fuck that is.

(988 posts)If Mueller could not indict the president because of DOJ policy then no further indictments still makes sense.
We have all seen and hear everything the press reported over the last 2 years. Mueller knew more.
The FBI and Mueller where doing a counter intelligence investigation on Trump because they thought he might be working for a foreign country.
The report will come out with all of this. Barr will not cover this up or his entire life and legacy is destroyed. He wouldnt be successful at that because Mueller would be asked to testify in front of multiple committees.
Mueller could easily say in the report
- Trump violated this law and here is the evidence
- trump violated this law and here is the evidence
- trump violated this law and here is the evidence
- trump violated this law and here is the evidence
Mueller could conclude that he would have indicted the president but for DOJ policy he will not.
The summary would have to include this and leave it up to congress to figure out what to do.
This is what I am betting on.

(8,200 posts)This crap about not being able to indict a president is total bull crap. Where in the Constitution does it say that? It is just pure bull. It totally destroys the concept that no person is above the law. The Founding Fathers never expressed such reservation. I had to read the Federal Papers in college. The individual value of each person was without question. The basic concept that nation was founded on was that all men are created equal and the concept that Aristocracy was exempt since they had been chosen by God to rule was a gross error. Pence put forth this same ridiculous claim in saying the God had chosen Trump to save Israel giving him some divine fiat.

(17,989 posts)Not indicting those close to Dolt since their sentences could be overturned by pardons and give reason for the cockroaches to scatter so to speak...seek out and destroy evidence..etc. I think the indictments and prosecutions were in some cases symbolic...indicting Russian nationals involved, with no hope of actually prosecuting them...but primarily surgical....as a means of twisting arms to gather information and following the trail of conspiracy wherever it leads. There have been countless investigations that have quickly turned up enough evidence to convict those at the top of the pyramid, but kept on digging to uncover more crimes and perpetrators, while not in the process unduly spooking the primary targets. It's never wise to prematurely show your hand. And as I've written before, this isn't TV. This is real life. Things don't all get neatly sewn up by the end of a 1 hour episode. The real world as far messier than that.
