3. Your friend overstates the case

He shared them with someone he had reviewed polling data with in prior roles... who we now know had some connection to Russia. There hasn’t been evidence to say that he knew that or intended it... and there is reason to believe that it didn’t result in the kind of targeting at demographics that would be expected if he was working with them.

Obviously Mueller was well aware of it and didn’t find it compelling.

5. Regardless... nobody has explained how that would have been collusion

If the Russians had tweaked their targeted advertising to go after demographics identified as persuadable in the polling... then there could be a case. As it is, there isn't even a claim that the Russians got anything from that meeting.

poll. Given to Kilimnik to pass on to Putin’s troll farms. Yes I am ass-uming of course. Also ass-uming Manafort lied his ass off about it to Mueller.

Have a good night. Someday I think will know the whole truth.

7. That's the problem

Apparently, the assumption is incorrect. If Mueller knew that it was "to pass on to Putin's troll farms" and could show that the troll farms used the data to influence their targeting... then that would show collusion and Manafort would have been charged with that (and possibly Trump listed as an unindicted co-conspirator).

9. Honestly I'd like to see Mueller's report before I draw any conclusions about what Mueller's report

says. I don’t really trust Barr’s “Cliff Notes” version. He does not seem like a credible source.

Happily Nadler, Schiff, Pelosi, and Schumer are pushing hard to get Mueller’s report.

NEW: Speaker Pelosi / Leader Schumer joint stmt: "Given Mr. Barr’s public record of bias against the Special Counsel’s inquiry, he is not a neutral observer and is not in a position to make objective determinations about the report."

Have a good night.

There was an almost unanimous vote agreeing that Congress wants it to be released... Barr says that he wants to release it. Trump hasn't said that he's opposed to it. Everyone knows that it's going to be released... and everyone knows that certain information in the report cannot be legally released. Everyone knows the spin that Democrats will place on that... and everyone knows the spin that Republicans will respond with.

8. The polling data was not "confidential".

No one has ever said that. And that specific act is not illegal. The Russians or any other country could poll Americans about anything whatsoever and it would not be illegal.

for two years we watched Maddow weaving together this tapestry. Who, what, where and when. and we all knew Mueller had access to WAY more info that she did, and she still did a clear and precise job of laying out these crimes.

I find it impossible to believe that all just vanished into thin air.
