Never play the other man's game: Putting any faith in the possibility that Barr could be objective

was a HUGE mistake. It led to the shock people are feeling now. It'll take a few days for people to realize just how brazen of a betrayal of justice and our democratic institutions this is.

They're going to try to hide behind a memo of Trump-spun conclusions that reports no factual findings. It plays to the media circus well in the short-term, but, if you think about it, as a long-term strategy it's pretty weak- because, eventually, we're going to see the actual report.

Never ever forget what Ed Meece did to the Rule of Law and accepted Norms. My guess is,we find his Fingerprints all over this. He is not known as the fixer for nothing.

I think this week is going to be riveting. The House has only been waiting for this report in order to take the next steps. They already had a plan in place, just like they did when the new Congress was sworn in.

They were not caught off guard. Just like most of us who lived through the Nixon years weren’t.

or at least most of it, but there's still the SDNY investigation of Trump going on, plus a whole host of others. Trump is far from clear.

In a way, this might actually be better for us in the long run. I was always wary of pursuing impeachment with the Pukes in control of the senate. But this way, we can hang investigations, hearings, and eventual charges on Trump right up until election day, ensuring his defeat. The minute he's out of office, the handcuffs come on.
