This is breaking news, so the details will become more evident over time. But, doesn't the timing seem suspicious to coincide with Trump's narrative that he's the victim?

He got busted when the charges were complete. SDNY has over 200 lawyers, and they aren't coordinating with each other to time the rolling out of prosecutions for political purposes.
