I have a right to be angry and I have a right to vent. If you don't like my posts don't read them.

(2,343 posts)It's made worse by the fact that less than 40% of people support the dipshit. I'm tired of feeling absolutely exhausted and beaten down daily by this horror show. Honestly, I think I'm more pissed at the non voting population. I put the blame solely on them. If just 70% of us voted every time, none of this would be possible, ever. No Republicans would ever be elected.

(16,126 posts)and you know, the people who don't like venting think we all expected a perp walk or something.
I suspect that the majority of us just wanted to see the needle move in the right direction for once.
Today, every newsbreak leads with "Trump Exonerated!" followed by him declaring that the other side needs to be investigated for daring to investigate him.
I'd just like to see some light at the end of the tunnel, some hope.

(94,729 posts)Nobody is saying that Russia didn't interfere; they said their was no collusion with Trump and his campaign. Effectively they're agreeing that your house was robbed, but your neighbor didn't unlock the door to let them in.

(37,748 posts)I wonder your agenda, but dig the creativity involved in pretending an accurate inference where one does not, in fact, exist.
Good job!

(26,219 posts)they invited them over for the post-robbery after party.
And then the cops tell you they aren't going to do anything about the robbery -- AND that there isn't anything they can do about loud parties.

(348 posts)They said that the Russian mob burglarized his house, but his neighbor didn't actually have a signed agreement with the Russian GOVERNMENT to burglarize his house so his neighbor gets to keep his BBQ grill, patio furniture, television and everything else taken from his home.

(5,164 posts)Your posts for me. We all have a right to express our reaction and opinons on what went down. I see it as some sort of deinal on the part of people who dont seem to see the reality of what is happening here.

If you call the cops, they laugh at you..
get used to it and "move on" (repubs favorite line unless it's about Bengazzzzzzzzzi or Hillary's emails....)

(9,460 posts)And I don't like others telling us to "STFU" when we voice our feelings. Our feelings are real. The optimists have a right to feel how they do but they have no proof it's going to turn out alright. So far, there has been nothing to show that their optimism isn't a misplaced feeling. They always want us to wait for this, that, or the other to happen but so far it's not panning out the way they keep telling us it will. Now they're saying to wait for the report. For one thing, we don't know if we will ever get to see the whole report. Or if we do, we don't know what Mueller said in it. We don't know if he can be trusted or not.

(14,176 posts)We are so cowed by our industrial entertainment complex. More and more choices for our eyes. "57 channels and nothin's on"? try over a thousand now. And much is very well produced, acted. I admit I spend too much time on Netflix, YouTube, and hockey of course but that's a requirement where I live.

(1,915 posts)"An unjust law is no law at all."
To this I would add, the inequitable application of law should never be tolerated.
In a good and sensible country - it wouldn't be.
This is neither a good nor sensible country. The rich and well connected do as they please without
fear of censure or punishment.
The MSM tells us "nothing to see.." and then interviews some lumpenproletariat worm that pines for the old
days of "bipartisanship." "Why can't we just all get along.." he or she whines.
This is why every branch must be in democratic hands - so that new laws may be
written and old laws amended such that the LAWS have TEETH.
Teeth like a goddamn wood chipper.
