It needs to be Mueller that testifies, NOT Barr

I'm not at all interested in hearing more spin, obfuscation and evasion from Trump's hand-picked ball-...err, I mean, whitewasher.

I'm not even all that interested in legal conclusions and judgments. What I want to hear is the FACTS, as Mueller finds them. Hell, I'd even go so far as to say that if Mueller himself somehow provides reasonable, innocent explanations for any of the rather large amount of circumstantial and direct evidence piled up against the Trump campaign and administration, I'd be open to hearing it. I think he'll have a hard time explaining most of it, though, without some nefarious intent.

1. Democrats want Barr to go first. It's important to get him under oath first.

Then find out how much he lied by having Mueller verify or disprove it.

We need to have Barr prove it or prove Barr is a liar.

His role is to shield Trump from the truth. Ignore him and take him out of that role.

4. Disagree. If there is corrupt intent (or even evidence of it) congress needs to know.

Rosenstein also needs to testify. Let's see how consistent their testimonies are, eh.

6. You'll just give him an opportunity to obfuscate and put out more lies.

You also put Mueller in the position of feeling pressure from his boss to align their stories.

There's very little benefit to hearing more from Barr, and plenty more damage that can be done- indeed, that's the point of him being AG.

when we claim to be looking for the truth is what’s stupid. And it’s also corrupt.

all of the relevant facts on the table?

The point is he's NOT going to tell the whole truth, if he has even cared to know it at all. Why would you go back to this poisoned well if you're looking for the truth?

The evidence, from wherever it comes will prove he’s lying. And lying under oath to Congress is a crime.

referred to as coming from authority, not to compare some evasive, long-winded Barr answer to a NYT report from months ago and scowl at it. We're trying to gather official, factual findings from the investigation and bring those facts to the American people. For that, you need a witness who values telling the truth.

Every witness.

By leaving Barr out Congress is allowing him to continue. The right thing to do is to expose him as a liar covering up the crimes of the President, not let him continue his crime for years to come.

I CANNOT believe Dems are so stupid as to think bringing this asshole Barr before the House is going to accomplish anything. They should just ignore him and go right to Mueller. They are playing into Trump's hands.
