(2,830 posts)The House should vote to impeach Barr the very next day. Let's see how much stuff comes out then.

(3,635 posts)He's always out there fighting and making good points, unlike some of the more conventional boring Dems who don't know how to control the narrative.

(5,803 posts)the fact that after comrade donnie's goons sent a memo out to teevee producers trying to get Rep. Swalwell (among others) banned from the teevee because they hurt donnie's feelings, it took about a nanosecond for Rep. Swalwell to appear on one of said shows (Lawrence this evening).

(18,837 posts)If he tried, of course, he'd have been no match for the task at hand.
I think he indulged in "Executive Time," let the taxpayers foot the bill for trips to Mar-a-Lago and his golf courses, and otherwise focused on ways to wipe his backside with the "Emoluments Clause" while enriching his own brand.
But tried to be president?
No, I don't see that. Ryan got his tax cuts and McConnell continues to get his judges, and all Trump really did was sign a boatload of "Executive Orders" to unravel the Obama legacy.

(4,406 posts)it's just that his version of being President mostly involves getting military parades and a Nobel Prize despite golfing every weekend and watching lots of TV.

(7,403 posts)He takes a dim view of Barr's actions. Indeed, he claims that the reason Mueller presented both sides on the obstruction issue and didn't take the normal prosecutorial stand was because he was leaving that decision up to the House. If we get Mueller on the stand to testify on why he did what he did and Holder is correct then Barr and Rosenstein could be in obstruction trouble of their own.
Stay tuned.
