Felix Sater was ready to tell of money-laundering scheme...

...with the Trump Tower in Moscow.

That would seem like info that Bob Mueller would have been interested in? But, not to be. Mueller has closed his investigation.

The Committee postponed the scheduled hearing with Sater. How important could this have been?

Donald Trump was conspiring with the Russians to build this Tower, even as he was in the middle of his campaign. No big deal?

There seems to be a lot of questions that still need to be answered?

Barr closed down the investigation. Mueller had much more to do.

I also think Mueller was a few staps ahead of the crooks. The very reason he transferred so many cases over to other courts.

And Democrats postponed the Sater meeting, to concentrate on getting the Mueller report.

I mean, as long as you're in good standing with the capitalist oligarchs who seem to be making all the rules anyway (well, the rules for all the little people anyway...I guess it's just taken as read that the ruling class themselves are above the law).

Not for nothing, even the stupid Barr letter seems to imply that yeah, all of this shit happened, but there's no clear and unequivocal hard evidence that would lead to a conviction in court, so neener neener neener. It's not so much "I'm innocent" as "fuck you, you can't tie any of this to me." and besides they have control of the courts, so there really is no effective legal recourse here.

I often think of the movie Billy Jack, and a quote along the lines of "when policemen break the law, then there isn't any law. Just a fight for survival."

So, here we are.
