Pompeo says US to expand ban on foreign aid to groups that provide or promote abortion

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday announced an expansion of the so-called Mexico City policy that bans U.S. aid from going to foreign groups that promote or provide abortions.

The expansion closes a loophole, Pompeo said at a press conference, that allowed nongovernmental organizations that receive foreign aid to fund other groups that support abortion.

"This is decent, this is right and I’m proud to serve in an administration that protects the least amongst us,” Pompeo said.

"This administration has shown that we can continue to meet our critical global health goals, including providing health care for women, while refusing to subsidize the killing of unborn babies."

But once their born - the HELL with them! Is that it Mikey? If those already born babies show up at our southern border, for example, and ask for food and shelter, will they be protected too?

....what we "can't" do, or what the president "doesn't have the power to do" or whatever fucking else I'm going to goddamned scream.

After what we've seen the past 2 years, anyone who dares utters anything close to those words loses any and all credibility and I will assume is either acting and speaking in bad faith, or are literally brain dead.

I don't want to hear about how someone "knows the system" and "how to get things done" or whatever. How we "get things done" is to win elections and then run absolutely roughshod over anything and everything Conservatives have done. I don't care if that means the president has to spend their first full year doing nothing but signing executive orders. I don't want to hear a fucking peep about the deficit. I don't want to hear about "good faith Republicans" or anything of the sort.

The old way is done and anyone who does not act and speak accordingly does not deserve our time or our support.
