(5,401 posts)Mueller has not said anything because his report says it. He filed his report, and in doing so, has done the job that he set out to do. His speaking out in any way now would be inappropriate.

(5,401 posts)manipulator like starr is amazingly beneath Mueller. Not every precedent is worthy of being followed, and going down that particular path does nothing but begin to delegitimize Mueller.

(4,386 posts)That is simply not true. If he was trying to manipulate or lie about the findings, that would be inappropriate.

(83,786 posts)I keep seeing this from people here. Seems to be a way to downplay the report. Fact is not every Republican is a traitor that believes in party over politics. Fact is some people can actually change parties and their politics. My Senator is one of them. Her name is Elizabeth Warren. She is running for President of the United States.

Oh, wait. That is exactly what they do not want us to do. Theyd much rather let us listen to and believe someone on tRumps side.
We need to give a steady drumbeat to The Powers that Be.
Release the Report. Release the Report. Release the Report.
No abbreviated, redacted memo. It was our tax dollars that paid for it. Release the damn report.

(15,286 posts)that Emmett Flood is expected to leave his job in the WH. I wonder if this means he's leaving Trump's legal defense team altogether?

(6,535 posts)I think there may be some level of "national security" concern here in the sense that if the public saw all of the evidence that was collected, it would be a simple matter to connect the dots that show the entire goddamned GOP to be corrupt to the core (and likely to a large extent compromised, given the bizarre July 4 trip to Moscow by that bunch of Repubs last year and other weird behavior with respect to Russia) and may implicate other parties (the NRA, for instance) to the extent that it would show our whole country to basically be a complete fucking joke at this point (at least as far as the current political leadership goes...) and likely also includes enough clues, if not actual evidence, to make it impossible to think of this presidency as legitimate.
