Yet adding more "rules".

I sense he's panicked over the report and what it means.

Can anybody be as stupid and laughable as Rudi?

Well sure, there is De Vos for starters. And now maybe Bar as well.

AT least the Keystone Cops was humor.

Congress "We want Grand Jury testimony"
Barr "I don't want you to have it"
Congress: "ok, we'll take you to court"
Barr "Fine, we were going take a pass but since you're not, we're asking for "executive privilege"
...
Court fight ... drag it out that way ... delay, delay ..

And as election nears repubs running will be decimated if this drags until then.

7. They can't control Bob Mueller

If the House Intelligence committee calls Mueller to testify, he has already said he would do so.

He's a smart guy -- prosecuted plenty of smarter mobsters. I'm hoping he's gamed this out.

10. Barr is already in over his head.

And it shows.

He keeps sending out missives "explaining" his previous missives.

He keeps moving the goalposts on what is to be redacted from the full report.

Trump (and the Republicans) appointed Barr to "'make this Mueller thing go away" once and for all - and all he's doing is drawing more attention to it. His every statement thus far has only served to raise suspicion that Mueller's findings are NOT something the WH or the GOP want known.

The pressure on Barr must be unimaginable. Hired as a "fixer", he's probably only now realizing that some things can't be fixed - by him, or by anyone.

In other words, he is failing miserably at the ONE JOB he was hired to do.

Watch for Spanky to throw him under the bus - subtly at first, and then more deliberately - in the same way we saw with Sessions.

act would be, he must have known. And he must have known he wouldn't be able to get away with it. It is almost as if he set himself up for failure. Why?

14. I think Barr will end up going 1 for 2 in his mission
Sat Mar 30, 2019, 09:02 AM

Step 1 was to kill the Mueller investigation dead in its tracks the moment he took office. That damage cannot be undone.

Step 2 was burying, obfuscating and haplessly spinning the report that Mueller was able to cobble together on short notice.

Barr will end up in prison for his role in that.
