Ex-Rep Stringer On Child Sex Trafficking: I Don't Think It Does 'Damage,' 'Part Of The Experience'

By Kate Riga

April 5, 2019 8:12 am

Disgraced ex-state Rep. David Stringer’s (R-AZ) history of disturbing comments on child sex trafficking have come to light as part of the state House Ethics Committee’s investigation into his expunged criminal record which included charges related to his alleged rape of underage children in the 1980s.

According to documents obtained by the Arizona Republic, Stringer told an activist in 2018 that he doesn’t believe sex trafficking does “damage” to the children and that he doesn’t “like to demonize it.”

“If an uncle takes his niece or nephew to a playground, and they go on the merry-go-round and have some ice cream, and then do their thing, that’s just part of the experience,” he added.

Around the same time, he made alarming comments to a school administrator in the context of an internship where he worked with children learning to speak English.

“I like being a daddy figure for the little girls when they sit on my lap,” he reportedly said.

What did I just read?

FFS, I feel like I have just woken up and am now living in some kind of sick dystopia where uncles take their "niece or nephew to a playground, and they go on the merry-go-round and have some ice cream, and then do their thing, that’s just part of the experience.”

I mean what the ever loving fuck is this guy doing outside of a jail cell? Check his phone and PC.

And why the hell are Republicans always electing these sick bastards?

They really believe children are naturally sexual and that it’s OK for adults to have sex with them.

It’s sick to normal people, especially to those who get molested by pedophiles, but pedophiles think it’s perfectly normal behavior.

believe that in the course of campaigning and fundraising, working with the GOP and local republican activists that no one got the willies talking to this guy? No one suspected a thing? Did they vet him and find out about the child sex charges?

should just fold up shop.

how do you do parody when reality is this over-the-top outrageous?

maybe the onion could run a story about republicans being logical, reasonable, calm, ethical, generous, law-abiding, and responsible. now that would be some serious sarcasm....

“I've known Jeff (Epstein) for 15 years. Terrific guy,'' Trump told New York Magazine back in 2002. "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it - Jeffrey enjoys his social life."
