During the McCarthy (R) era it was "Better dead than red!"

Now during the trump (R) era, it's better the reds than the feds???

How the fuck did this happen? How does it continue?

Where are the 1950s red-scare repubicans now when we need them?

Oh, it was all a lie then. It's all a lie now. It's always been and always will be a lie.

They're repubicans. Anything to win. Lie, cheat, steal.

They just want the money. Whatever it takes.

Yet another example of capitalism at its finest.

We got rolled, religiously and politically speaking, in the 50s (which is when we got "under God" in our pledge -1954 - and on our money and motto in 1956) in conjunction with mccarthyism from about 1950 to 1954.
It was the the decade that set the stage for both religious and right wing extremism. That validated it as a political means to power.

That decade set the stage for the gop to be the way they are today.

It's real this time.

Except now it's the Republicans that are aligned with the Russians and it's actually true.

I dunno. I think Russians have been pulling our strings a very long time. Directly or indirectly.
