Very interesting bit of history that I was unaware of, even as a former NY resident. Fred Trump was a ruthless bastard. It's very clear to see where his son gets it from. It breaks my heart to see history demolished like this for nothing but greed. I am a strong believer in landmark preservation and this story just made me so angry.
