No sex or race is particularly worse in this regard. Heck, the word "slave" is from "Slav" -- as in Slavic -- because of their history of being enslaved.

Strong people oppress weak people. Period.

Even the Nazi death camps used Jewish overseers or "kapos" to supervise the labor of other Jews in the camp. That said, I doubt this would cause you to label them collaborators in the Holocaust.

P.S. The idea that "Slav" and "Slavic" drive from the word "slave" as a descriptors of their historic status is a myth.

That's not remotely the true in the case of enslavement of Africans.

Powerful Africans were enslaving other Africans long before the Western slave trade started (as is still happening).
