we had a 2 year "grace" period, before the dotard started consolidating power

now that time is over.

now it appears the events i feared would happen 2 years ago have begun in earnest.

for 2 years, the dotard struggled with the office, confused and weak in his attempts to rend asunder the republic. we resisted. change came slow, stupid, and potentially reversible as Trump proved himself as an incompetent figurehead, fumbling away legislative control in 2018.

now either the dotard has grasped the idea of consolidation of power, or (more likely) his handlers simply deemed him incapable of doing so and took matters into their own hands through A.G. Barr.

from here onward, it gets really ugly, and resistance becomes increasingly dangerous. elimination or marginalization of all political opposition is the goal. that means us and all our elected representatives. looks like the method of choice begins with the mass media propaganda campaign. no more "friendly fascism" -- they'll be wearing the true colors now.
