Fox News cuts away from press conference as Trump begins rambling incoherently about fences & trucks

https://www.rawstory.com/2019/04/fox-news-cuts-away-from-press-conference-as-trump-begins-rambling-incoherently-about-fences-and-trucks/

“If we had the wall, the good people will not be able — you’ll see them on the other side of the wall,” said Trump. “Number one, they won’t come, because they’ll say there’s no way of getting through. Right now they think there’s a way to get through. And the people back home never hear about that, they start to walk. They tell them Houston’s half a mile away, but it’s 300 miles. It’s desert.”

“This is a vast state, it’s a vast area. You look at it, the state’s tremendous,” said Trump, who seemed genuinely stunned that Texas occupied a large land area. “I come from New York. You have Fifth Avenue and that connects you to Park Avenue, its not too far away, but this is hundreds of miles between places.”

“They’re very expensive fences, but they don’t want to go through the process of going through the fences, so, again, they wait until the fence is open, the gate is open. They wait at the gate and they kill people,” said Trump. “They want to take the truck, a lot of times they don’t even want to go to the house, they want to steal the truck. So you always go to the gate in doubles.”

“It’s been going on for many years, it’s coming up, I’m bringing it out,” Trump continued. “And these people are coming into our country, some are dying during the walk. Many of those people I’ll bet are very good people, but some are dying during the walk. Many, many have died. That is what surprised me.”

he knew he was getting it wrong, you could see him word-searching, and he couldn't find anything but oranges.

Anomic aphasia. With anomic aphasia, the person has word-finding difficulties. This is called anomia. Because of the difficulties, the person struggles to find the right words for speaking and writing.

Aphasia is usually caused by a stroke or brain injury with damage to one or more parts of the brain that deal with language. According to the National Aphasia Association, about 25% to 40% of people who survive a stroke get aphasia.

Aphasia may also be caused by a brain tumor, brain infection, or dementia such as Alzheimer's disease. In some cases, aphasia is a symptom of epilepsy or other neurological disorder.

abilities and decline. It was a Mini Mental, as I recall. It consisted of several parts, one of which was drawing a clock face showing a specific time. She was asked some basic questions on place, time and date. She also was asked to draw a house and asked to remember three words, which she had to repeat a short time later. It may have taken 20 minutes to complete But was not just two questions.

Based on that and my observations given to the doctor, the doctor told me she believed my mother had Alzheimer’s and was placed on Aricept to try to slow down the progression of the disease. We were told at that time that only an autopsy could tell us for sure if she had Alzheimer’s.

My brother-in-law (in his mid 70s) fell ill suddenly and became incoherent, mumbling and repeating numbers over and over. He was very paranoid and in an agitated state. He had fallen and had hit his head a month or so before but had been on vacation and seemed fine. His decline was so rapid that everyone that knew him was curious and dismayed at that turn of events. He eventually regained some ability (with medication) to converse and talk a little but was not ever normal again. The doctors thought he might have Lewey Body dementia and said it was terminal. He chose (earlier in his life via a Living Will) to discontinue feeding and liquids and died a few months after the rapid onset of dementia. He donated his body to University of North Carolina in hopes that they’d be able to figure out his diagnosis for certain.

Dementia really isn't something to make fun of - but it looks more and more like Trump's got it, and if so, something needs to be done. Reagan's Alzheimers was covered up and the government was managed without him, but Trump's administration doesn't have anybody competent and the nitwits who are there are likely to just let him keep on doing his crazy stuff.

The test I alluded to does consist of more than the two questions and is mainly designed to test short-term memory and the ability to recognize things, which is where dementia tends to manifest first. But it's not rocket science and definitely is not an intelligence test - and I'm wondering how well Spanky could handle it today.

the number of people in on this loosely guarded secret. Everyone that comes in contact with tRump knows something is very wrong with him. Every.single.One. A few come out and tell whatever they dare. Some just keep mum. But no one with authority to do a damn thing is lifting a finger. Or if they are, they’re being damn quiet about it.

So yes, you are right that the mystery about what exactly is wrong with tRump could be solved by professionals with access to him for a few hours. Interviews with family and close associates would add more detail and information. But to the best of our knowledge, that is not happening and will not be allowed.

The question is why and why are so many people willing to try cover up the sad state of his mind? Try to cover is all they can do. It is painfully obvious he is a very sick man with a mind that is shutting down.

into some kind of word stew, because his brain can't sort it all out. He just got back from the border, where some people told him about drug dealers, some told him about people dying on the migrations, some pleaded with him about children in cages, some told him the law was against him, ranchers near the border may have told him that the "bad ones" sneak in and try to steal the first truck they can find to make a getaway, fences and walls work and don't work, Katie-Bar-the-Door, Who Let the Dogs Out, and who left the gate open.

His brain is on overload. He is trying to manage his inflated reputation, staying in control of everything and everyone, and keeping all his tangled businesses running on the side, and dodging law suits and possible indictments thrown in. And every day, he gets a little older and more sleep-deprived, as he is torn up with hatred and revenge, which he lets loose on Twitter.

He may self-destruct.

Nobody in the "mainstream" media reported it.

Reagan's acting skills kicked in for a few seconds, just long enough to look good on television. The newspapers reported by official press release, not by what they saw with their own eyes.

Gerald Ford may have been the last Republican President who wasn't a puppet.
