Middle America is facing another bomb cyclone this week with strong winds, heavy snow and ice and potential flooding.
"A powerful storm system will continue to bring heavy snow, strong winds, and blizzard conditions from the northern Plains to the upper Midwest into Friday," the National Weather Service said. "Dangerous travel conditions are expected."
The National Weather Service office in Boulder, Colorado, said parts of the state were experiencing blizzard conditions, making travel dangerous. The winter storm is moving eastward into Kansas and Nebraska making driving dangerous.
The weather service office in Kansas City reported a 20-degree drop in air temperature in one hour on Thursday as the cold air moved in, bringing snow behind it.
