So, Trump, Let's Put Together A plan to Relocate Asylum Seekers

There are plenty of cities in the United States that would like to enter into an agreement with the federal government to settle refugees into America, but let's do it with a plan. First, we need to thoroughly vet each individual. That shouldn't be too hard, since two thirds of the refuges are mothers with children. That's not quite the MS13 or terrorist profile. Next, let's allocate federal funds to help the chartable organizations and the state and local governments work toward that resettlement. Next, their hearings for permeant residence need to be transferred from the current location to where the individuals will be resettled and additional judges hired for that purpose. Certainly we can't have the refugees travel thousands of miles in parts of the country they don't know to return to the border. I figure if 50 locations take in 20,000 refugees each, that's a million. It turns out, we do have the room, if Trump's willing to cooperate.

I don't think Trump will like my plan. I think Trump just wants to pile the unsuspecting refugees, legally seeking asylum in the U.S., onto a bus and just drop them off in the streets of San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia and think that's a big joke.

But, guess what, your idea does have merit. We'll take on the responsibility to resettle. But this is a federal problem, with federal courts and federal responsibilities, so the feds need to do their part, also. You want to reallocate funds with Congressional approval, here's your chance. Trump and Pence want to brag about being God fearing Christians, here's your chance. Act like Christ would act in that book you always like to quote.
