The lead holding it in place melted and the windows were lost in the fire.

There are holes were the window use to be and burn marks on the outside of the building around where the window was.

like a year before camera phones came out Not about me, I know, it's a sad day.

probably countless other pieces of art are lost. Just from a historical stand point it's tragic. On an emotional level this is just devastating.
