Why do so many cave to Trump? . . . Ask the Russians.

Could this be? Could the Russians (who likely hold or can find dirt on many legislators and other officials), be "reminding" the likes of Lindsey Graham, say, of certain details like hidden or laundered money or personal indiscretions which could ruin their careers?

It doesn't seem likely. That would constitute a scandal beyond any we have ever seen in this country.

But how else explain the capitulation to someone who is offensive to so many of them? Even eagerly defending him?

I think it's extremely likely. There's really no other explanation for republicon asskissing of MF45.

Look what they all said about him during the primary. Their change isn't explained by merely "getting behind our nominee". If that's all it were, they would be falling all over themselves to primary him now. And they also would have found a way to use Mueller's investigation or some other scandal to have gotten rid of MF45 and then use him as a scapegoat for all the shitty things republicons have done.

But they haven't. They almost certainly are compromised by someone, and the Kremlin is the most likely culprit.
