(97 posts)Absolutely agree but also understand Congresspeeps wanting to investigate/gain support and just blow his ass and its lickers out of 2020 (then unroll/impeach every piece of catpuke he ever did/appointed). And sorry for taking advantage this post to reply since as a spanky-new DUer posting for my first(/maybe last) time I cannot start a new thread, but I am looking for a place to ask whether we are not missing a hypothetical "Mueller Report Volume 3: Counterintelligence Inquiry" that spikes the football on the slam dunk (to mix metaphors).
I know the report lists Vols "1/2" and "2/2," but globally changing "1/3" and "2/3" to "1/2" and 2/2," respectively, would be a trivial exercise in obfuscation that I wouldn't put past Barrf & Co(-conspirators), and I have heard references to a counterintelligence volume, which seems to have gone MIO (missing in obfuscation). It could not possibly be an in-progress work given the status of the Mueller investigation.
Any thoughts on this possibility?
And, I may as well throw in another suggestion I've been wanting to unload: I don't care what we call the republikkkan party but have been thinking "Anti-democratic Party" might be a good way describe them accurately. Although, I'm just fine with "traitors."

(108,978 posts)someone will make sure that the 458 pages Barr produced was the same document, in its entirety, that Mueller provided to Barr.
Benjamin Wittes's theory (BW writes on Lawfare) is that Mueller only did a criminal investigation; that he didn't do a counter-intelligence investigation -- that he simply referred all of the counter-intelligence matters to the FBI. And to support this theory Wittes mentioned the place in the report where Mueller discussed having FBI personnel embedded in his group, whose job was simply to collect info Mueller had developed that should be referred to other parts of the FBI.

(9,114 posts)You know what's missing from the summary vol II, para 5, is the fact that Rosenstein told Rump he would resign if Rump said Comey was fired because of Rosenstein's recommendation.
Seems like a fact that is pertinent to obstruction.
