Impeachment is a stupid idea......

Spend 18 months with impeachment hearings and taking news away from the debates and the Dems running for president.

Focus on what a Dem POTUS will do for the country. Focus on what a POS Trump has been.

Impeachment is a distraction away from what we can do if elected POTUS.

And if the precedent is set that is a game over for actual democracy.

That people fought & died for.

AND-I think its a major win. The hearings alone if done properly should cause major outrage & increase voter participation-on our side.

Thats all we need is a decent turn out because there are more of us than them-always.

They have the rules rigged but we have proven turnout will overcome it. And the outrage will generate turnout-Win.

Mueller laid out an Congressional impeachment case based on obstruction.

Use it or look like you only care about elections and not the law.

and say WHY they can't get a conviction in the Senate. I have yet to hear one Rep or Senator state clearly that the tRump cabal is guilty but the Senate republicons would give MF45 a pass. No matter what how clearly it's proven, they will refuse to convict.

Every time they go on TV, that's how they need to state it. Whe they just say "well, we shouldn't impeach because we can't get a conviction in the Senate" and just leave it at that, here's what MAGAt Fox addicts hear: "Rush is right! Sean and Laura are right! The Godly Donald Trump is great and completely innocent and that's why they can't make a case!"

If Dems are gonna argue against impeachment because of the Senate, they need to make it clear who is letting MF45 get away with it.

....NOT. So you let Trump get away with it and he will gloat, his backers will gloat, the GOP will be emboldened and yet, this is the path to victory for the Dems? Every day you will hear about how the Democrats cannot be trusted, they were wrong on collusion, they are wrong on the border, they're wrong for America. You can't let evil go unpunished because it is difficult. Just consider parents who just scold little Johnny, hoping that one day he will grow out of it. Johnny just learns that his parents are dopes and he can get away with whatever he wants.

Start the investigation, build a case and when it is airtight, impeach.

run free of charge. It's priceless. No matter what shitler says, no matter what he does, no matter where he goes, that narrative continues to run on and on and on in our 24/7 news cycle, framing the entire campaign throughout. Pussy tapes and crazy gaffs only go so far and get stale, pushed to the back of people's minds or completely forgotten. THIS beats him down every single, solitary day. The latest in the hearings dominating the news cycle for months. It segues perfectly with the Dem's message. An alternative to the slime and corruption this process will dig up. Do you think the Mueller report is the end of this? It's only the beginning. There's a treasure trove of stinking shit, nearly unimaginable in its size, to dig up on this bastard. Mueller just cut the sod. The digging begins.

On edit... This isn't straight to articles of impeachment. Oh no. This is months of investigation and committee hearings. Drag the process out for all it's worth. It beats that narrative into the heads of voters. No matter what he does or says, his name becomes synonymous with shit in the minds of most. It simply becomes the common understanding. We can't reach his cult, but who cares? It's the non-political, less engaged voters we're reaching with this.

I can see the opinion that now is not the time to impeach or the opinion that Senate Repukes will never vote for removal.

But to characterize it as a stupid idea? Seems a bit like bomb throwing.

Reagan fixed his election, illegally sold arms to a rival to fund an illegal war....he was held harmless.

George W. Bush outed Velerie Plame as political retribution. He committed war crimes. He manufactured evidence to justify another war....he was held harmless.

Donald Trump is the most corrupt President to ever hold the office. His "high crimes and misdemeanors" are now validated by the evidence.

If the Constitution was not crafted to protect citizens from EXACTLY THIS, we must accept that our citizens are not capable of self-governance and we are now military-faciest country run by oligarchs.

It is the DUTY of our elected representatives from both parties to impeach this criminal. To do otherwise is an abrogation of their sacred path of office. No candidate for Congress or the Senate that does not support this premise will not receive my vote.
