Howard U. pres. demands gentrifying dog walkers respect the private campus.

"...residents have taken to using Howard’s Yard as a dog park, with one resident even suggesting that if Howard doesn’t like it, the university should move. Read that again."

Howard has been in DC since 1867, long before anyone had any need for the term "gentrification."

There is a plaque on campus commemorating his miltary group. This is despicable of people who use the university grounds as a public dog park. There should be a law passed that If someone is caught bringing their dog on campus they should be fined.

and she seems to enjoy walking in new areas as much as I do. But I keep her on a leash at all times, and have baggies for her poop. It pisses me off when I see people let their dog run loose and bother other people, and crap on other people's property or public places.

As the article said, it's not about the dogs, it's the asshole owners.

I don't own any dogs...and yet, constantly find other people's dog poop on my property...and yes, we have leash laws..
