"Lee's strategic foresight was more questionable, and both of his major offensives into Union territory ended in defeat.[4][5][6] Lee's aggressive tactics, which resulted in high casualties at a time when the Confederacy had a shortage of manpower, have come under criticism in recent years.[7] Lee surrendered his entire army to Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Court House on April 9, 1865.

Gen. Lee committed treason. That's how I've always seen the Civil War. The South wanted to keep their slaves so they seceded from the the U.S.

is Fort Bragg, in NC. It was named after General Braxton Bragg, of the Confederate Army. And he wasn't very good at it. From Wikipedia:

"Bragg is generally considered among the worst generals of the Civil War. Although his commands often outnumbered those he fought against, most of the battles in which he engaged ended in defeats. The only exception was Chickamauga, which was largely due to the timely arrival of Lieutenant General James Longstreet's corps."
