(453 posts)The driving force behind Trump's unhappiness is Barak Obama. And that will never change. He is all about undoing whatever good or even bad that Obama did. Like a million others he cannot deal with the fact that a black man was elected President TWICE.
This, is in some ways, satisfying to me that these men and women spend sleepless nights and unproductive days living with this knowledge.

(101,361 posts)It's automatic with him. Like it's automatic to demean women (unless it's for a particular look), or to lie about his popularity or wealth.
Apart from people who habitually commit violent crimes, there is no-one worse than Donald Trump. And he's now in a position where the damage he does is far worse than most violent criminals.

(18,486 posts)Let's not fall for it for the distraction. We know he's going to do and say stupid, racist and outrageous things. His supporters love it and sane people hate it, but talking about it isn't going to make his removal from office, either through impeachment or election defeat, any more likely.
We shouldn't ignore it, but we also shouldn't harp on it. We should acknowledge it, note it and then turn our focus back on the bigger things that matter.
