Apparently that's some 'inside joke' among these killers populating 8-Chan, like him and the NZ killer ... saying this internet 'star' was involved. Dunno what that's about but doubt this was funded by anyone.

It appears that both Earnest, and the NZ shooter, have tried to 'pin it' on PewDiePie in this fashion, but their real motivation was that they view PDP as something of a sell-out/traitor, because he's dramatically toned-down his earlier rhetoric because Youtube has been frowning heavily on it, and he makes a lot of $$$ from Youtube.

So that's why I said both these two killers appear to be trolling PDP in their manifestos. There's no way PDP funded either operation. They just want to embarrass him for not 'keeping up the good fight' in their eyes.

4Chan/8Chan are un-moderated internet message boards with no filters, and everybody is anonymous (unless they blurt out their name, as this guy did). You can say/post anything on these boards apart from Kiddie Porn and Illegal Software, and it's a deep, dark corner of the internet where every conspiracy theory is allowed to flourish. Q-Anon is another famous 4/8Chan-sourced conspiracy theory. That's where this guy got his nonsense info, and where he think he has 'brothers', and posted his manifesto.

The only thing I recognized was "anon" in his letter. On the local news they just reported that his mom was heard saying "but he doesn't even have a rifle". I wonder where he got that from as well as the training.

If I wanted to and was determined to do something like this I would have to learn a lot...like what a bullet looks like since I have never even seen one (my family is a bunch of pacifists).

We've let this go on too long under the guise of the 1st Amendment. I've long been a proponent - to not minor criticism - of exempting from free speech protections anything associated with Naziism: it is a belief system of geocide!

I remember way back in the 70s when neo-Nazis applied for and got a permit to march in/near Skokie, IL, where many Holocaust
survivors live, citing the 1st Amendment. I thought it was wrong then and I still do.

Anything attached to a belief system of murder - whether Native American genocide, African American slavery, etc. ...1st amendment does not and should not protect it.
