CA synagoque shooter claims responsibility for last month's fire at a mosque in nearby Escondido, CA

The heavens were with these folks in the synagogue in that a large number were not shot (given it was a AR-15 used)

In the manifesto *allegedly* posted by the California synagogue shooter, he claims responsibility for last month's fire at a mosque in nearby Escondido, CA. He also says he began planning for the shooting after the New Zealand mosque attacks.

There’s a clear trend of shooters using these weapons of war to attack public spaces and yet the GOP turns a blind eye.

Violence will always happen but without one of these two items above it cannot be repeated easily. Without access to guns then it becomes an anomaly which the media will report as such. Sensationalism is less likely which in turn leads to less copycat events.

Repeal and replace the Second Amendment and get rid of guns. And I could give a f*** about gun rights in the right to arm oneself

A very hot issue for the media, or anyone else to handle.

Seems to be a tendency to blame 'mental illness'. Charlottesville may be the tip of an iceberg - or maybe not.

If we had a leader in the @WhiteHouse who cared about our citizens, he would condemn these attacks. (? maybe he has by now??)

The reported manifesto also lists the names of people who “inspired” the California synagogue shooter, including Hitler, New Zealand mosque shooter Brenton Tarrant, and Moon Man (a reference to a white supremacist meme).

weapons used in 1791, since that is the frame of reference for the Second Amendment.
