Why do you think so many people believe such ridiculous lies? Why do they believe women are routinely walking into abortion clinics in their third trimester and getting elective abortions? Why do they think Plan B, and even ordinary birth control pills, work by causing abortions? It's because the Pro-Life [sic] people spread these lies constantly. Lots of right wingers think that's true, that babies are being born and then killed afterward. It's further complicated by the fact that many of them consider allowing nature to take its course, when someone is dying, to be exactly the same as an execution. They still think Terri Schiavo Schindler was murdered. They believe hospice workers deliberately overdose patients so they'll die faster. Etc.
