(33,643 posts)I, for one, do NOT appreciate.
I thought back when I heard his 'demonize' quote the first time, he was trying to say 'this isn't really happening in Arizona'. Like, just a clunky way to defend the state, IOW.
But now come to hear THIS?!? And with what else we've learned since?
Holy shit ... dude. You are one f***ed up cat. Get Help ... while Doing Your Time.
And stay away from children. Forever.

(58,785 posts)Poor uncles. For our son that would mean taking the little one to pick up the others as they got out of school and "then" head for wherever he promised to take them. While his sister and BIL enjoyed some quiet time.
I assumed this would turn out to be inflated for max news entertainment, not exposure to real, sickening perversion.

(32,457 posts)Stringer's attorney, Carmen Chenal, said Friday afternoon that the police report is based on "unproven allegations." She said the House inappropriately released records from a decades-old, expunged case and warned "this is not over."
The allegations
are false and Mr. Stringer denies them all," she said. He never committed a crime. He was never convicted."
Stringer, a Republican from Prescott who is now 71 years old, abruptly resigned from the Arizona Legislature on Wednesday, a stunning move that came as he refused to cooperate with ethics investigators.
House speaker: 'I was sickened'
Friday's release sparked an outcry from Republican and Democratic leaders.
House Speaker Rusty Bowers, R-Mesa, said the records led him to push Stringer to resign on Wednesday.
"Upon reading the report, I was sickened," Bowers said. "This is very disturbing."
Bowers said the report was obtained by a private investigator hired by the House.
Bowers and House Minority Leader Charlene Fernandez, D-Yuma, held a joint press conference on Friday afternoon to express their "shock and horror."
"This is not about politics, it's about the safety and security of children," they said in a joint statement.
Democrats attempted to expel Stringer in January, after reports that he had been charged with sex crimes, including child pornography, came to light. But Republicans blocked that move and asked the House Ethics Committee to investigate.
