I remember seeing 2 people suing a medical school... because they stated they were denied entry into the school because of their fervent religious beliefs.

The school's response was that in the medical profession, the hypocratic oath should be honored and feared training them was opening up them want to deny some people services....

(paraphrased out the kazoo).

And of course the supreme court is ruling on 'Religious beliefs' as valid to deny people services/goods, etc

out the damned door because they made it perfectly clear about how they felt about treating . . . . people with AIDS, "Mexicans," women who had abortions, college "girls" with STD's, same-sex partners/spouses, addicts, homeless, mentally ill, the "morning after pill," and so on and so on and so on.

None of those assholes belonged in nursing. Only one of them still has a licence. On paper, I might add. I doubt she is actually allowed to work for any legitimate organization by now.

I remember when Chabad Poway was built. I pass by the synagogue everyday taking my kids to school, yesterday in fact.

This is surreal.

It turns out the shooter's father was her son's Physics teacher. The shooter was enrolled in college to become a nurse.

He wrote this in his "manifesto"...

"To my family and friends. I can already hear your voices. ‘How could you throw your life away? You had everything! You had a loving family. You had great friends. You had a church. You were doing well in nursing school. You could have gone so far in your field of study. You could have made so much money and started a happy family of your own.’ "
