3 years ago I thought I was dying. I was pretty close but after some major medical tests

and some different long term medicines things seem better. I have not even been in the hospital this school year.

after 16 years our jeep started giving us major fits and we started looking around.

Well, we just walked out with a 2019 Jeep renegade Limited.

It has all the bells and whistles.

This will probably be our last care barring something that happens otherwise.

I am very happy .

I just pray my health stays stable

we are in the process of reducing our debt. had gotten down to one card and student loans now we have added a 640 monthly payment.

we are in a place where we can double payments if we want.

IT is sharp and such new technology

but a union auto worker nonetheless.

Solidarity Forever.

I hope the jeep lasts 20 years, and deminjeep buys another one then.

but I was so scared that I could lose the positive progress we had made on my health.

Hubby said I was just too conservative and worried too much.

If I do get sick again and can't get leave of absence like I did before there is always the catastrophic leave pool. A Union Perk!

I just pray nothing happens to me and am kind of scared to put the first ding into it..

Keep on keepin' on girl!

Are you comfortable revealing roundabout what the new Jeep set you back? Are you financing it?

We're thinking of trying to get something new. We never get new vehicles. Right now we're lucky that all 3 of our cars are running pretty well. We only drive one (the other two sit in a garage), but it's nice to have a 2nd car if you need it or have a backup car if one has to go to the shop. One is a '98 with 180-some thousand miles. One is an '01 with 120-some thousand miles. One is an '02 or an '03 with 180-some thousand miles.

My parents are getting older. Getting into and out of cars is very difficult for them. We were thinking crossover, but I think they're all too small (we're all tall and need leg room). That leaves a minivan or an SUV. We're thinking of an SUV. We even have a make/model we like. But being able to pay for it -- not sure about that one yet. I think it runs somewhere between $30,000 to $45,000. We too want some of the bells and whistles. Never had a backup cam. Love the new cams that show around the vehicle from up above. Things like that.
