Update: Status on getting unredacted Mueller report, tax returns, and people to testify

1) Barr may not show up to testify before House Judiciary Committee to answer questions on redactions.

2) Subpoena for undreacted report could end up in federal court for a very long time

3)

The struggle between House Democrats and the Trump administration over investigations intensified Tuesday as a former White House official defied a subpoena and the Treasury Department ignored a deadline for providing President Donald Trump's tax returns.

4)
Kline did not show up Tuesday for a scheduled deposition, and Cummings said he is consulting with other lawmakers and staff about scheduling a vote to hold Kline in contempt of Congress. The committee subpoenaed Kline after one of his former subordinates told the panel that dozens of people in Trump's administration were granted security clearances despite "disqualifying issues" in their backgrounds. Carl Kline, a former White House personnel security director, who was subpoenaed by Democrats

5)
Trump said he doesn't want former or current aides testifying in Congress, "where it's very partisan — obviously very partisan."

6)
Cummings said the White House "has refused to produce a single piece of paper or a single witness" in any of the panel's investigations this year. Democrats took control of the House in January.

7) Trump emboldened more than ever. There was nothing to see there. And you’ll never see my taxes.

8) We have not secured voting systems and nor prevented Russian interference in key states we need to win.

At a Feb. 13 House Homeland Security Committee hearing, EAC Chairman Thomas Hicks told lawmakers he wasn’t worried about threats from foreign parts because of work happening inside the commission’s certified labs that test voting machines.

I don't understand how Democrats plan on getting more information to impeach Trump when no documents are being turned over and people are defying subpoenas?

Drastic times call for drastic measures.

That many Democratic reps are going to use this as a narrative for the election more than trying to get info. Use this to paint the administration as corrupt. I only hope it works cause if it doesn’t democracy is over as we know it.

when it's wise to proceed cautiously. Now is not that time. If Democratic leadership doesn't act now it will turn public opinion against them.

More like the fix is in ..we will not follow the Constitution and will not hold him accountable. It is utterly disgraceful and I am ashamed of us. Trump is prancing like he's blameless. Just what the anti-impeachment contingency worried so much about happening IF we impeached.
