Have any doctors' groups come out to denounce that patently untrue scenario Trump described

in his latest rally where he told the crowd that doctors deliver babies, wrap them in a blanket, then discuss with the mother whether or not to "execute" them?

Is this not a huge insult to the medical profession that Trump insinuates they do this all the time to a newborn babies and that Democrats promote it?

Isn't there a group of ob/gyns or Pediatricians who should publicly state that Trump is wrong, this doesn't happen, and he is lying?

This statement is beyond hideous and untrue. He has no scruples, no empathy, is willfully ignorant and making statements like this should be called out by all sane news reporters and medical organizations. It’s a flat out lie, and very dangerous to state to the morons of his base that believe anything he utters. Just figuring that it’s too hideous to be believed, is naive. His base thinks he is right about everything. I feel that by just letting it go, we’re becoming numb and accepting his dangerous bullshit and lies. It’s worse than lies. He poisons people’s minds. I know it gets tiresome because there’s always something shocking coming out of his pie hole. I guess I just refuse to give him a pass, as if it’s not that important.

They tell lies, even outrageous ones, over and over until people become cognitively exhausted, and the brain starts to accept the lies, even those we know are preposterous. "Well, there must be some element of truth, if he can keep saying this repeatedly and no one objects."

After NY passed its new abortions laws this was the spin the right wing nut jobs were saying. I was told I was being naive if I really believed these abortion on the delivery table scenarios would never happen.

It’s maddening trying to fact check people who have irrational beliefs like these. It’s also impossible.

Why is Trump permitted to lie like this? Why doesn’t the news media swarm on this, nonstop coverage demanding proof or retraction.

Of first degree, premeditated murder. We should demand evidence to support his claims.

I know that this is what his base wants to hear and that's why he's saying it. He is opening up room for abortion rights to be on the table for 2020.
