I remember when the Murrah Building was bombed in '95 and initial reports were adamant it was the work of Muslims. No rationale for it; just made good copy I guess.

Unfortunately, the harm caused by "breaking news" has been amplified since, what with the internet and so many people willing to plunge right in to discussions about something they know next to nothing about.

Twice as many victims as the synagogue shooting, but just a handful of comments then crickets.
Why the lack of attention to these victims?
