They all took the paycheck, kept their mouths shut, and did little (that we know of) to protect the American people they swore an oath to protect.

Then again, they were defective enough to accept a Trump administration job in the first place. Expecting extraordinary courage and clarity would be a laughable expectation.

Right now there are probably current leadership doing similar things.

Trump has pretty much fired his way through Homeland Security to get to people that were not approved by the Senate who will not question his orders. I don't believe he has gotten to that point with the Defense Dept. When he does we are in deep shit. Going public that you were not following orders would accelerate that process.

I believe all these folks are making an all in bet that in 2020 the election will take care of him. I hope they are right.

I had a hunch that orders were either directly or indirectly were going on but not acted on by the more level heads in the White House. And, this was said in the MSM while the three retired Generals were in the WH.

Seems that we are being socialized for a bigger reveal with stuff like this leaking out and confirms the other crazy Trump orders that were not carried out, or yet revealed. Maybe we don't know how close we got to ugly or conflict breaking out.

Goes to show Trump wanted a bigger distraction during the Mueller investigation, but who's really in-charge now is the question?
