I was reading news stories going back to August 2018, referencing 2017. I remember telling my husband that trump wanted a war. I guess he learned this was important when he ran the parades at military school. Sorry, do not know how to put news articles in. I googled Venezuela and trump and went back a few pages.

He and the republicans have a lot to answer for.

This sounds like news recycled from February when much ado was made of USS Lincoln CVBG conducting exercises off Florida's coast. Ultimately was nothing.

Now if a couple ARGs were sent to the Caribbean my ears would perk up.

to arm/use ex-pats already in the area or perhaps the Columbian and/or Brazilian military as boots on the ground while we provide air cover.
