“Legislation that would allow U.S. congressional committees to ask for President Trump’s state tax returns is a step closer to getting a vote in New York’s Democrat-controlled Senate,” the AP reports.

“The measure would authorize New York’s Tax Department to release state tax returns to a congressional committee if requested.”

How cool would that be? And multi state returns often require the attachment of other state income tax returns that taxpayers file. Hoping for a big complete state return with all required attachments! However if we only get the NY forms it’s still a HUGE victory!

Required federal so maybe this is a great backdoor to get the federal returns!
