I WAS BORN THAT WAY!!!!!

My father could not read or write, but he knew what it meant to be a Democrat. He knew who had caused the the depression or at least he thought it was the fault of Herber Hoover. During the Great Depression he worked on the Blue Ridge Parkway in VA. He earned 10 cents a day. By then he had 4 children and later one more after the depression. We didn't have money, but my parents knew how to make a garden to provide food. We lived on a farm, that wasn't ours, so that we could have chickens hogs and cows which all kept us alive. He worked without pay for the owner. We didn't have to pay rent because he worked for him. He also worked another job, pulling a small boat across a river...only 2 cars at a time. Still not much money because the state didn't pay much for the work then.

When I was a kid, he once said that he would vote for our Congressional Representative Poff if he was a Democrat! He was a good one, but we don't have them now.

I'm a Democrat because I listen to the news, read it online and in the newspaper. I know idiots when I see and hear them. Would Mitt will be another Herbert Hoover?
