Why is anbody surprised that Barr lied for Trump?

Trump lies with impunity. Everyone around him lies for him. Barr was hired for the express purpose of putting a stop to Mueller. If that meant lying about Mueller's report, well, ok. Just part of the job.

The Republican Party has deteriorated into one great big lie-fest in order to protect the power of the Executive branch. They lie about anything and everything. Nothing said by any Republican should be considered true unless it can be proven. Liars are not to be given the benefit of the doubt.

The most troubling aspect of the regime of 45 is that 60 million people voted for this lying con man. His character was known. People didn't care he couldn't be trusted and had zero integrity. They didn't care.

Now the question is, what are the rest of us--the majority--going to do about it? The future of the Republic depends upon our response.

I have written to my Congressman (fortunately a Democract) and told him that impeachment hearings must be held. Congress must pick up the hand-off from Mueller and lead the investigations that are going to take us down the road to impeachment.

The Democrats can start with throwing every damn Republican from the Secretary of the Treasury to the Attorney General in jail. Arrest them for failing to comply with subpoenas. Cite them with contempt of Congress. Press charges for lying to Congress. TAKE OFF the damn gloves and give these lying, bullying, corrupt sacks of $hit the treatment they deserve.
