Just heard him say, "If you asked people in 2016 if they liked Hillary Clinton, they said no. If you asked people if they liked Donald Trump, they said no, BUT."
What the hell people are you asking?!?
It really annoys me when "people" or worse, "The American People." are generalized especially in the sense of "Everybody hates Hillary Clinton." "We all know about her baggage." "Worst candidate ever and so 'flawed!'" Please. At least try to be original.
(And this after Chuck Toad misstated why some people might think Comey sunk her campaign at the end -- he cited the "no crime, but bad behavior" which was egregious, but the "Hey! Huma Abedin emails are on Anthony Weiner's laptop and we're announcing that it could be related to Clinton EMAIL probe, scandal, criminal investigation before we even look!!"
If you asked a whole lot of people I know in 2016 if they liked Hillary Clinton, they'd have said absolutely. Asked if they liked Donald Trump, they'd have said not just "no, BUT," but "hell NO."

(24,149 posts)Sometimes I actually agree with him, but these sweeping generalizations irk me no end (especially the mythology about HRC and Donald).
