Why, for all my caterwauling about GOP holding all the cards, I have hope: WOMEN!

Women led us to a Democratic House. Women led us to significant headway is state and local offices. A woman beat Trump in 2016. Women are achieving Badass status faster than men these days. Women aren't just winning elections. They are winning elections where no one could imagine they would win. But win they did.

Demographically, women ARE the majority.

Trump is underwater with women. That's not new. It is a well established trend.

While I will support a woman (not yet sure which one - there are three I favor), the fact is that women will select our 2020 candidate.

If women vote, we win.

My sense of things today is that women WILL vote. Like they did in 2018.

So yeah, I have real hope.

We will vote in record numbers in 2020. I also have real hope in electoral victories for Democrats up and down the ballet in states we lost in the previous election.

Lots of ground work needed to make this happen.
