A wild question here! OK what if the sergeant at arms was sent to arrest BARR and

They resisted and the officer (sergeant of arms) was wounded? Any additional charges for BARR? (resisting arrest and or others)

I doubt if your situation would ever happen but I'd love to see Barr arrested. The House Dems need to stand strong.

Without being ordered to cooperate, the security detail of any sitting cabinet secretary would block the arrest.

..is the FBI. The Sergeant at Arms wouldn't get close to him, and if he persisted he would be arrested for assaulting a federal official and possibly attempted kidnapping. If necessary he would be shot before the FBI agents would let him forcibly abduct the AG.

Does the Speaker have any control/input/say so to use them?

They are a trained, legitimate police force.
