living in hawaii one must buy many specialty art supplies on the internet. 3 suppliers have sent emails today telling me prices of many items are going up 20% Monday due to the new trump tax increases. I see local suppliers so will probably get the news from them at the next purchase
Dems should be blasting this as a massive tax increase. are they?

Dems never do this very well and the GOP knows it. We need to broadcast the crimes of the GOP. Even though they commit them out in the open they still get away with it.
Art supplies cost me more than my grocery bill when I was an illustrator. Artists were literally starving so they could buy one tube of Cadmium Red.

(31,261 posts)I would get reamed if Captain Dumbass did his tariff act on Holland and Germany, because a lot of my raw materials flow through Holland and Germany, with a minor number via Bulgaria.

We blasted that Donald stuffed people and so on and he still got elected.

(20,631 posts)didn't wait any longer, as the tariffs would have probably cost me an additional $250, given that the rims are Chinese-produced.

Dem's just need to substitute tax for tariff. In fact, they could say Trump is enacting the biggest tax increase in American history.
